Well I had a very good weekend. On friday night myself and a few friends went ten pin bowling. I am so bad a bowling. I was not paying very much attention to the scores but I know that my scores were rediculously low and I came last in all three games. I got gutter ball after gutter ball. This did not put a damper on my night though. I am pleased to say that I was very much the life of the party and therefore did not need to impress people with my bowling skills. Bowling at night is fun because the place goes dark and the pretty lights come on. The mirrored disco ball starts spinning and the music gets louder. It was fun.

After bowling we headed into the Southbank parklands in the city. We walked along the river and ate New Zealand ice cream (only the best ice cream in the world). We also went to the markets. I bought this totally beautiful jewelery set with earings, bracelet and a necklace. And there was this guy playing the guitar and it was so great. It was Spanish guitar with a mediteranean feel mixed in. Amber and I bought one of his cd's and we've been listening to it all weekend. It kinda got weird after that because the purpose of friday night was the give my cousin a chance to talk to this girl he likes who is also a friend of Amber and I. My brother was there and in a weird mood. And Amber and I were also in a weird mood. We sat down by the river. My brother just kind of sat there not talking to anyone. My cousins was talking to the girl and Amber and I had a slighly intense conversation. After that I needed time to think and so I just went and sat by myself. I just did some thinking. It seems that lately it's the same thing that occupies my mind. Anyway there's something soothing about watching the lights on the river.

On saturday I went over to Amber's house. It was such a stinking hot day so we got a blankett and went and lay out in the shade under the trees in a park. The breeze was really nice and we just talked for a few hours. It is what we do best. I think we both needed a really good chat. The last few weeks has been interesting to say the least. Mainly boy problems. Stupid guys mess with our heads.
