On Saturday I spent the day with Amlee. Amlee was my best friend through primary school. We were good friends pretty much until she transferred to my high school in grade nine. We had a great few weeks until she chose another group that she thought was suited more to her. It was kind of sad for me, because Amlee under went a dramatic personality change then. She became to ‘cool’ to be seen talking to me. She eneded up dropping out of school after Grade 10 and I didn’t see her after that. Over the last 4 years she has rang me and we’ve had the odd conversation. But on Saturday we met up and went to the Coffee Club for Brunch. It was a lot of fun catching up with an old friend.

We don’t have anything much in common anymore, but it was still good to catch up and talk about old, current and future times. I don’t think we’ll be hanging out regularly from now on. We completely different people now and have different values and morals etc.
It’s cool speaking to someone you’ve know for so long.
